Fingertip drilled ball with the inserts will help you. As long as you understand keep your feet slow and move your arm straight back then forward.. you will have NO issue throwing a hook.

I went from a small hook to cranking it just from practice..maybe i'll get a video of a few shots I throw tonight.
I have been told by many instructors its hard for girls to have a big curve like boys because we can't throw as hard. Mine hooks a little right at the end but other than that pretty straight.
