My associates is in Aircraft Maintenance Technology and my Bachelors is in Mechanical Engineering. which works well considering I'm an FAA certified airframe and powerplant mechanic and my current career as a marine diesel engine service engineer.
the latter is a long winded way of saying that I find problems with diesel engines (either via dealers or testing on my own) and fix them. and its not just swapping parts in the field, its redesigning parts and materials and all sorts of fun stuff. I hate the "monkey suit" however, but it pays extremely well compared to past jobs. and once I get things settled down with my 5 week old, I plan on going back to get my masters in ME

Right on Brother! I wish you good luck with that indeed! I haven't convinced myself personally it's worth it in my case. I've thought about though!
