Her demeanor in court? Not evidence.

The prosecution had nothing. "100% of people would not do that [react somewhat calm when told about daughter's kidnap]" etc. etc. does not make for a case.

For all we know, the grandfather really did kill her and was in cahoots with the mother. The killing may have been a convenience for Casey and therefore she showed nonchalance. Didn't the grandfather attempt to commit suicide? Just putting different perspectives out there because emotion does not dictate whether one is innocent or guilty.

Am I defending Casey? No. Am I labeling her as a killer, a monster, etc? Not with the little amount of knowledge and actual care I have for this case.
Defense attorneys love people like you for jurors.

Can't see the forest through the trees.

When a cadaver dog alerts on your trunk.... probably a good chance a dead person has been there, and the car owner had something to do with it.

When you party like it's 1999 for a month after your child is gone from your life.... probably a good chance you had something to do with it.

When your parents walk out on your not guilty of murder verdict.... probably a good chance you had something to do with it.

When you lie to the police in a murder investigation.... you get the point.

No different from O.J., Michael Jackson.... high profile lawyers convinced moronic jurors to ignore the evidence.
