Just a rant, many can say I have just as many nice things and maybe even more but I at least know how to be humble about it to fellow students my age, and the older college professors. Seriously, these kids have nicer cars than some of my tenured professors. It's ridiculous. And I'm sorry to kind of support a stereotype, but few of them can drive those cars well.
I wonder whether or not they even want to fit in. Look at how the girls all dress. I mean, I'll admit I dress a little nicer for class than if I'm just hanging out with friends or going to work, but all that means is a newer pair of jeans and a button-up shirt. Plus, all they do is hang around other Asian kids, then somehow expect themselves to magically pick up American culture and the English language.
Maybe I'm just weird because I'm an Asian who's an agriculture major and hangs out with a bunch of American girls all the time. I was born and raised in the US so maybe I can't relate. But the way they act just confuses the hell out of me.
