I would talk to him and let him know he is liable to any damage to your car and ask him to put a deflector/catcher on the mower.... A reminder that he could seriously injure someone as well should be all it takes... document any damage and do it while its happening to show proof.. Then its court time and thats what its there for.. yes its a hassle and I would think all it would take is a calm conversation with the person and let him know what he is doing and that its wrong and causing damage.
