Adams Polishes Rubs Me The Wrong Way...

Just as the title of this thread states...

The product and everything just rubs ME the wrong way. Last night I used the stuff, and low and behold this is what happens

The porter cable owned my hand, with 2 blisters and a rubbed off thumb knuckle :(

However, this is what I was using the product on!

2006 Pontiac GTO - Twin Turbo

So yeah, the product may have rubbed ME the wrong way (Well Just the Porter Cable lol), but oh boy did it do wonders to that Little GTO.

The car had the following done

1. Washed using Adams Shampoo (Double Bucket Method)
2. Air Dry using Leaf Blower (non Gas model)
3. Double Clay Barred (Paint was so nasty, that on the 1st pass, it felt like I was sanding the dang car )
4. Severe Swirl & Haze Remover with Porter Cable from Adams (On Hood Only)
5. Swirl & Haze remover (Porter cable, On Hood, Fenders and Front Fascia Only)
6. Adams Machine Polish (Porter cable, On Hood, Fenders, and Front Fascia Only)
7. Adams Machine Super Wax (Porter cable, On Hood, Fenders, and Front Fascia Only)
8. Buttery Wax (By Hand, On Roof, Doors, Rear Panels, and Rear end)
9. Super V.R.T. On Tires
10. Adams Glass Cleaner on Windows
11. Any Wax Hot Spots Adams Detail Spray
12. Microfiber was used the entire detail as well

Yeah, I didn't Porter Cable the Entire Car, as I want to take it in steps. Next time I wash the Car, I will machine the Roof and doors, and the following, the rear end.

All in all, everything I did just there with no interior or engine bay cleaning, took me about 7 hours. I am convinced, to do everything the right way, could lead to an entire 24 hour day of just detailing, lol...well maybe I am just that slow and careful. I laugh at the folks who can detail in 6 hours and try to compare to the real deal.

Hope you guys love the car, as I do, but MAN, I hate them Blisters! But Well Worth It

Gabriel
