My Beretta is probably rarer (its a Y2K model with only 2000 made) or my Henry lever action (Boyscout Centennial Edition Golden Boy). But I'd have to say the m1 has a lot more blood and sweat in it. If you plan on getting one from the CMP I would probably get started on it as you never know when they will sell out. Especially since the Obama administration pulled this move:

Im really looking for a 1903a3 right now. I passed up one at a show for 425. but now i really want one haha. Carbines are great shooters. Currently my dad has 3. One is an original National Postal Meter, we have a Winchester we are in the process of restoring and recently my grandfather gave me one that just has a bunch of mis matched parts. But they are great shooters.
