So yeah, Kinect definitely is the cheapest option by far. Not to mention you don't have to worry about buying batteries, rechargeable battery packs, or new controllers if you manage to break the old ones...

Woah Blast form the past lol.
1. 3 things you forgot, the 360 Kinect package comes with no HDD and the 250gb HDD cost $130 + $60 (A year) to play games online. Also it is not a 3D compatible Bluray player in compliance to HDMI 1.4 specifications.
2. What in the world would you need 4 nav controllers for?? You don't need the nav controllers at all to play any move games. Also none of the PS3 controllers need any batteries, they recharge through a usb cable to any USB port.
Ps3 Move Bundle 399+3 extra controlers = $550
To get the 360 up feature for feature to the PS3 Means
360 Kinect Bundle + 250Gb HDD+ XBL Gold (Per year)+ Charge N Play kit+ Blu-ray (which is not available) = $510
At the end of the day cost of both are pretty comparable and IMVHO just play the one with Games that appeal to you and screw the fanboy nonsense. For me it has been all Playstation until Gears 3 comes out.
