Ok, the yard I went to earlier said they got a Trans Am in, 2000. I'm thinking "Sweet I can score some cheap interior trim pieces that broke!"
Wrong. Only thing barely worth salvaging was the rear filler.. and they wanted 60 bucks for it. All faded and scratched up. Speakers were gone, interior was already half stripped by the owner; yet they said it was 'complete'.
Looked more like they got half a Trans Am in, took the other one they had crushed, and pieced together a whole one for people to pull parts from.
OH, and I never knew an 88 GTA stereo could fit into the 1.5DIN slot on a '00. Not to mention it had a 3.8 in it and someone heard about the 'T/A' claiming the V8 it 'had' sight unseen. Boy are they in for a surprise..
