One of the gals on another thread was asking questions about P90X and I told her she needed to come to this thread to learn everything she ever needed to know about weight loss and fitness! I figured others might find the answers to her questions beneficial so I am reposting here:

4. About how much actual weight did you lose? (P90X is more of a muscle building program than a weight loss program...my goal was not to lose weight, but to gain muscle so weight loss was minimal)

I would also like to add that P90X is not for the faint of heart...lots of people start it numerous times and never complete it (myself included). It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to stick with it. Although you will lose fat and gain muscle, P90X is more of a strength training program and less of a weight loss program. If your goal is weight loss, P90X may not be the right program for you. All that being said, IF you do P90X AND stick with it you WILL see results!!!
