I am not 100% sure this is the place to be looking for these kind of answers. You will get a lot of people that will be telling you to adapt their life style (ie. drop the vans and hollister and pick up some steve maddens) and then you will get some smart a$$es telling you that you are immature and so on. I have met many many professional/successful people that wear vans and hollister, so I think your clothing selection should be based on what you are wanting to do for the rest of your life (which seems like this is what we are trying to figure out).

I am 25 years old, own my own business and financially am in a better spot than the majority of the people around me. Money is important to me and, to me, is my way to measure my success along with other things. There are a lot of people out there that money is not important to them. Figure out what is important to you. When I was in your spot I had to answer the following things to myself:

1. Where am I now?
2. Where do I want to be in 5 years and is it realistic?
3. What is important to me in life?
4. Who am I surrounding myself with right now and are they helping me to get to where I want to go in life or are they dragging me down?
5. Have I gotten everything out of my system that I need to at this age? (If not that will only hold you back. Wishing you could be back where you were)

There are a lot of things to take into consideration and I'd be more than happy to chat with you about it. You are where I was at that age. I made many big decisions in my life that have helped me get to where I am. I have my Psychology degree and like to help people out in any way possible.

I think it is a personal journey that you are going through, that everyone goes through. Sorry "PoorMansCamaro", I do not agree with you. Identity crisis occur at many ages and many times in people's life.

I subscirbed to this thread. I am interested to see how things go for you bro. Best of luck and it takes a lot of patience and soul searching. Don't give up and don't settle for anything less than you want and deserve.
