#1. I've given him three electric, and one accustic. First was a BC Rich Warlock with graphics, lost count of the names after that (they also got more expensive after that
). He also traded some games he was tired of for a broken guitar and fixed/painted the body and put new pickups in it.
#2. Sometimes he did tabs without the amp, and other times he'd plug in (usually when he had a finger combination worked out). So yes, he could play in the house with the amp, and I never had to ask him to turn it down because it was too loud.
