Because if it's sitting at 43k MSRP, for base options starting, you gotta figure that with dealer markups, options, tax/title, gas guzzler tax, etc...It's still going to be a good bit over 50k out the door. And I have yet to see an SRT-8 being sold anywhere close to MSRP brand new. And when this 6.4L comes out, you can bet that Mopar fanbois will be coming out of the woodworks to pay 60k for this car. Still, it's a beautiful car, IMO, just not worth that sort of price. At least Dodge has stepped up in the performance category, though I'm unsure if it's really to make themselves competitive, since the target audience for this car is probably not the same as the people who are debating between an SS and a 5.0.

People are already ordering them for MSRP or less, as for options the only ones are like the sunroof, Nav, and kicker sub. It comes basically fully loaded for the starting price......
