Because if it's sitting at 43k MSRP, for base options starting, you gotta figure that with dealer markups, options, tax/title, gas guzzler tax, etc...It's still going to be a good bit over 50k out the door. Still, it's a beautiful car, IMO, just not worth that sort of price. At least Dodge has stepped up in the performance category, though I'm unsure if it's really to make themselves competitive, since the target audience for this car is probably not the same as the people who are debating between an SS and a 5.0.

idk about you but for 50k i would take a gt500 any day over a str8
