Go for it. Shucks, I'm 27, will be 28 when my daughter (our 2nd child) is born, and I fully expect to have a vasectomy by the time I'm 30.
And, if you get the itch (if that's what you want to call it) to have kids again, you can always have it reversed, which I'm told is MUCH more painful.
cousin had a vasectomy at 19 (don't ask, long story), reversed at 24, and he got his wife pregnant within 3 months of the reversal surgery.
