600 lbs removed for all the famed 10 second bolt on runs and god knows when it started (probably sooner). Evo claims (minor weight reduction lol) They have been known to lie in the past about several things and are still stretching the truth.
The car is lighter than a Z06 by 200lbs for god sakes...LMAO
Dont beleive me?

FINALLY got some hard numbers on this BS. 10.9 without even headers...give me a MFING break.
Livernois just now broke 10's and they have full exhaust, gears, intake manifold, CAI, 12 : 1 pistons, race gas, stage 1 cylinder heads...you name it except for cams...they just broke 10.9. And had the advantage of an auto with 4.10 gears.
The times are nothing above and beyond the bolt on times of a 5th gen when all things are kept equal.
The one person on this webste who ran some 17 inch bogarts on an exhaust/tune 5th full weight pump gas stock gears ran an 11.7 (because he got a stang like 1.6 60 ft..simple as that)....enough said. Its just no one is doing it/ it is so easy to just slap on some 15 inch rims and good tires to an 11GT and run great times. 5th gen owners are stuck with 20's most of the time spinning down the track. 18's are the smallest option uinless yoou want to spend 650 each on the bogarts and 17 is as small as you can go.
With equal traction their is NOTHING to be scared of.
Here is a good friend of mine's car a couple of weeks ago:
Worse air without the converter:
I have yet to see a 5th gen. run anywhere near that with as few mods.
His race weight is roughly 3,800lbs. with him in the car. Hardly a stripper.
Hard to swallow isn't it?
