I go to GM for cars and Mopar for trucks, both have been extremely reliable over the years,The only exception was the 73 Chevy Vega I owned for a year (cardboard engine). The dealer should not only tell you whats wrong, with 53000 miles they should fix it free.... I just bought my 3rd Ram truck and if its as reliable as the last two I'll have it for 8 or 9 years like the last one. I would have bought a silverado but the styling didn't cut it. My neighbor has 2 Chevy trucks and they just get routine maintainance at the dealer, they see a lot of hard service and have had no problems... The Ford F150 I had went thru a transmission, rear axle, camshaft and lifters and I hate to admit I even owned it.......

So get on down to the dealer and find out whats the problem!!!!!
