I've owned GM (69 Firebird, 76 Grand Prix, 88 Nova which was a toyota, 96 Sonoma, 2000 Silverado extended cab) Chrysler (Talon aka Mitsubishi eclipse, PT Cruiser), Toyota (Prius, FJ Cruiser), Mitsubishi (86 Sapporo, 06Outlander), Subaru, Honda and Ford (late 80's EXP). The Sonoma and Silverado never gave me a problem. I traded both with over 100,000 miles. I did have several issues with the Nova, Prius, PT Cruiser, Talon, Sapporo and Ford. The 76 Grand prix and 69 Firebird had issues as well but the 69 was found in a barn and the 76 was well built in the 70's. My Step father has had a string of F150's and he had brake problems so often it became a running joke/jab. I had the Silverado and towed a 20 foot boat every weekend I don't think I ever put new pads on it. I may have right around 90k. If I had to rank cars by my experience it would be GM, Subaru
