I do not believe we'll see the Corvette go the "retro route". I believe we'll see a continued evolution of the car.
As for the headlights, I cannot recall exactly, but I
think the reason for the exposed lights may have something to do with a new law.
Not sure on that as I said, but I'm betting we won't see pop-up lights anymore.
I'm thinking we'll see the next "generation" Corvette has not "strayed" too far from what we currently see.
