thanks guys, it was the hardest on my dad as he was the one who took him and the previous dog that had to be put down. we have another cat that belongs to his girlfriend. he is a big fat fluffy dark gray blotches over white kitty named Jack. for the longest time if Sunny was on the 1st floor where his food and litter were Jack had to stay in the basement where HIS food and litter box was. when I would have Sunny on the 2nd floor on my bed or next to my desk where the PC is Jack would have the run of the 1st floor. now that Sunny is gone, Jack is the main cat and will now have full access to the entire house now, which he will LOVE
