A diver springs upward with an initial speed of
1.8 m/s from a
3.5-m board.
What is the highest point he reaches above the water?
So the final velocity of the diver at the highest point is zero, acceleration is -9.8 m/s/s, initial velocity is 1.8 m/s.
I keep getting .16 m but that's apparently incorrect...
EDIT: ****. I'm an idiot. 3.5m + .16 m = 3.66 m. Wow. Just wow.
