Real-life Peeves: I can't stand it if someone doesn't look me in the eye at least 50% of the time I'm talking to them. It allows me to tell if their lying (yeah, I can do that
), and it gives me a better opinion of them.
Doesn't quite work online, though...
Online peeves:
Especially being in this rumor-mill buisness of sorts, I hate it when folks take a well-know
Rumor and post it as "I know for a fact that - (insert foolish rumor here)".
It makes me want to reach through the screen an back-hand them.
