Hi Ronnie!!!...thanks for asking...he is still in harm's way with all the poisonous smoke from the wildfires and the heat too...:(
I just posted 2 photos in the thread I started about him in Russia and you can see how bad the smoke is...check it out...
As a mom, I'm frantic...however, he is over 12,000 miles away from me and there is not a thing I can do at this point to protect and help him, so I had to 'let it go' and put him in God's hands...
The first weekend I heard the bad news about the smoke and poisonous gases and carbon monoxide and possible radiation from Chernobyl in the air, I cried the whole weekend...I was a wreck...
The worst part is that the only way I have to contact him is by email and he doesn't always get WiFi where he is, so I have to wait for days to hear back from him...:(
There is not much AC in Russia where he is, because the average temps this time of year are only 75, however the temps have been 100 and over for the past 2 months...this is the worst heat wave ever recorded in Russian history...
The fact that there is no AC and it is 100 degrees outside means that everyone has their windows OPEN, which lets even more smoke inside...:(
There are people dying over there from heat stroke and smoke inhalation too...I also worry that even if he gets through this crisis NOW, what will happen to him 10-20 yrs LATER?...
The 9/11 1st responders here in NY that worked at the site THEN are dying NOW from respiratory diseases and cancer that they got from exposure to the smoke and ash at the site in 2001...:(
