Unless of course there are multiple pedders guys on here and i'm confusing you with another. That's a great stable you've got.

Not only are they both mine. They are my DAILY DRIVERS along with an over the top Pedderised Pontiac G8. Yes I am a very lucky guy in many ways. I have great family and great friends and don't work -- I just do what I love every day.
A year ago I had a couple of magazines out for a track event. These are the same guys that drive and write vehicle evaluations. I specifically asked them if they had experience on a road course. They said they are experts. I told them I was asking because if they were at the least bit uncomfortable I would have my driver scale it back a bit. No they said let it all hang out. The first ride was on an OE baseline car. They declined to take any additional hot laps in the upgraded cars.
I have been asked to teach people how to drive on a road course. I have been in the passenger seat with great racing drivers going way back to David Hobbs. I can get a car around a road course to do our suspension work. I can setup a car. I cannot drive like my professionals. They are professionals and I have my learners permit.
That is why you wont hear too many complaints about the brakes. Gingerman Raceway is not a brake friendly track. Gingerman eats brakes and tires while it rewards great suspension. I do ALL our track work at Gingerman for a number of reason. The #1 reason is safety. Even with the new configuration and longer back straight most street legal cars will never see 130MPH. Turn #11 is the only dangerous corner and if you know the track you can run off into the pit area instead of the wall. The rest of the turns have a lot of runoff area so you go from race car to lawn mower but are relatively safe.
We clocked a 1:38.8 in the 2011 Mustang on the one lap we were able to run. That lap would have been the 5th fastest car at the Motor State Pro Touring Challenge -- a BONE stock Mustang. That is why we cooked the brakes. The pads are not designed for use that generates this much heat. The Mustang lap is 1.1seconds FASTER than the BONE stock 2010 Camaro we ran there. The Camaro was an automatic. What this tells me is that the 2011 Mustang and the 2010 - on Camaro are dead heats stick to stick for 1.5 laps. We had no problems with the SS Brembo brakes on the OE Camaro which ran three hot laps.
This is as close as you can get to head to head unless you budget is unlimited and you can buy one of everything you want to test. We asked for volunteers and we got volunteered a Camaro SS auto and Mustang GT with Bembro and six speed. From there, it is what it is.
