Depends on the outcome of the race. Regardles you're right, there will always be people which no matter what the outcome they will make excuses for everything, so don't worry about them. The rest of us civilized people can tell if both run 12.5X and it's a close race then both cars are equal. If one car consistantly runs a tenth or more quicker it's safe to say that car has a slight advantage.
