I drove to C5F that was half way there... I've ridden in a car from the Florida keys to Maine and on into canada.
This 69 VW I'm looking at has a 3 speed like that. You just put it into gear and drive around like an auto and just move the lever for other gears. Its so easy, I don't know why something like never caught on.
the person below would get that instead of an auto camaro.
