I understand your position, but...! The biggest advantage Monanta had, was the fact that San Francisco could run the ball! That's something Miami never could do when Marino was there. Opposing defenses never had to concentrate on Miami's running game, because it was nonexistent! They were all gunning for him, and yet he could still light 'em up! Really, if San Francisco would have had Marino, they would have had more Super Bowl wins and quite possibly an undefeated season too!
(Side Note, I still can't believe Pittsburgh didn't draft him! Home town boy and all...they knew what he brought to the table and they passed on him!
