With state farm yes you would have to submit a claim but it would not count against your rate/policy. With country wide you don't even have to submit a claim to get them working on the other insurance company.

Fair enough,
But, just to be clear, It will only count as a claim if they don't get 100% reimbursed. If it got 90% covered then I'd have a 10% claim which probably wouldn't change my rates any... I don't pretend to be an expert.
