Arrived in Ft. Lauderdale safe and sound. Called my brother once I was outside baggage claim and exiting the highway ramp I see this bright "Orange" beast - yup, his Challenger. OMG he was so pissed, a semi squeezed in front of him and it was throwing oil all over the front of his car right up to the roof. To make matters worse, he tried to use his wipers - FAIL.. So we washed it with Dawn as soon as we rolled in the driveway, waxing it this morning.

On the way to his batchelor pad he stopped for gas (only his 2nd tank), car has almost 500 miles on it).. Nice ride. We rode his new Harley to a tiki-type outside bar in Weston, FL (I was probably one of three people wearing a helmet). Got a bucket of 5 beers for only $10 - that's about the price of a beer at the arena!! Had 2 buckets and did lots of people watching, then went to a pool joint and listened to a band, switched over to Maker's Mark, then rode home about 2am.

Off to Datyona (3hrs) mid-day tomorrow, then hopefully back here after the race, then heading out Sunday am for Key West (3 1/2 hrs).
