Nice sarcasm. It is far more responsibile for a person to be mobile in an instant regardless of reason than waiting hours for their car to charge.

The minority populations that require individual transportation in urban areas must be affluent in order to provide safety for their EV by having a private garage.

There is no viable public charging solution that is secure. You can't have city blocks lined with 100's of kW's being pumped into cars without problems.

Public transit will always be the best solution in large cities for average people.
