now the feeling
I entered shows last year (the paid sort) with my car all shiney with the stripes, orange chrome engine, embroidered trunk carpet, air brushed helmet, and so on. If the car wasnt from 1969 and before you didnt win. The judges couldn't give me a reason why nobody from 1970+ even got a second look (lots of hot 4th gens, mustangs, various mopar and several 2k+). and when the winners went up they all new each other. biggest waist of money out there. I stopped doing the pay shows and just hand out at local bars with patios.
