Wow, this is sqaurely in the realm of tinfoil hats and radio wave mind control. Why on earth would anybody ever want to answer the disaster that was the Corvair? As for the Corvette, while nice, it was and is a limited production, two seat sports car far removed from the Mustang in terms of price and practicality.
The 6.2L Boss is indeed a SOHC (initially) design intended primarily for truck duty which will easily provide class peading power by way of competitive peak power numbers and a class-beating (and by some margin) torque curve.
