I still loved the movie and this makes me want to watch it again. Entertainment doesn't have to be about plot, story, or real characters. I enjoy a deep, sophisticated movie just as much as I enjoy a mindless action movie where stuff gets blown up every 30 seconds.
But Transformers 3 without Megan Fox will not be the same. Regardless of her acting skills, she was a main character. When you get rid of a main character, the sequels aren't quite the same. Granted they are adding Aladn Tudyk (Firefly/Serenity) to the cast, but he doesn't make up enough for losing a main character.
