Ford has answered the call quite effectively. The new V8 and V6 are great motors. Ford's new V6 is quite the burner and sounds very nice. The companies approaches are just different. I'm sure Chevy will answer back in short order.

What's cool is both companies has given the V6 enthusiasts solid platforms to work from. With a few simple tweaks to the intake, exhaust etc, the V6 Camaro is right there with the V6 Stang.

I prefer Chevy's approach at the moment as I think the Camaro is a much better looking car and has a better chassis from which to work from. I do not mind the low roof at all. I'm 5'10" so it's not an issue for me. I've never owned a car that has had so many people from so many different walks of life approach me asking permission to have their picture taken with it.

I know Ford has done a commendable job of taming their LSA and keeping the weight down and the sequential tailights are sick but the front end to me is a great example of redesign for re design's sake. It just doesn't look that great nor do I car for the smoother fender flares. Fail.

I showed up at a Corvette rally last Saturday to meet some friends and my V6 Camaro drew more attention any of the Vettes. It's a gorgeous car.
