It was called out that the Mustang would have been quicker with the 3.73 and the outcome would have been different to which I stated that if you went back to an apples-to-apples comparison by installing a 3.73 in the Camaro, you would wind up in the same outcome.
Not sure how/why that became so convoluted....

3.45 gears for a car that peaks at 5900rpm (LS3) is still more aggressive than 3.73's on a car that peaks at 6500rpm (5.0). To match the LS3's gearing advantage theeoretically the 5.0 would need something like 3.80 gears.
