It's good to know you're in the same boat. I actually will need a job, though. I'm near bankrupt, so I need to start making enough money for bills within 2 months of college, or there will be problems. Hopefully, I get a well-paying sales job with one of the companies I've applied. I've also talked to someone in restaurants who can help me a little. 80% of jobs are found through networking with the people you already know, so I have a 20% chance of the sales jobs to which I've applied working. Regardless of what I find, the goal will be to build both experience and expertise in certain products. That way, I can boast both talent and knowledge to headhunters in the future.
And I will be feeling bad until I have a Camaro SS to drive. With no money in the bank, that is a pretty foreign reality. :(
