Also, GM didn't do a good job with the "bringing out" of the vehicle. When you take out the fleet sales #'s, it still doesn't do as well as it should, given the excellent reviews and vastly improved quality/features. The improved exterior and higher FE of the next Malibu should help to dissolve those old image issues. GM would be well-served to give Malibu significant focus going forward...a leading sedan with sustainable loyalty has the potential for major ka-ching. It would be nice to see GM have a sedan that consistently equals/beats Accord and Camry in sales...year after year.
