Right now, nobody is digging that 2010 Mustang, the Camaro is on top in sales right now, I think that will continue in the future because the new 5.0 looks exactly the same as the 2010 model except for more performance being implemented into the car. You can debate me on that, do an external comparison, the 2010 Mustang and the 2011 Mustang 5.0 looks exactly the same with no difference. Oh wow, they add "5.0" side decals to the car, big change! Shock and awe! Other than that, the car is exactly the same as the 2010 in looks, and because of that, I don't think any more customers are going to buy it than what was already sold in first year of 2010 Mustangs arrival.

You can't just change the performance of a car and make no cosmetic changes to it and expect people to say "oh we have more power now, so let's buy more". The fact is it still looks the same. Sure under the hood looks all good, but 90 percent of people don't buy a car based on how under the hood looks. Most people buy based one what they can see first,.....the looks of the car, and the interior then they start thinking about it's performance. Just because the new Mustang is getting a better engine, I don't see anything changing much between the 2010 and the 2011 version.

Now and days, I see more Camaros out and about, not many, but I'm definitely seeing more Camaros than I use to down here. I saw 4 in one day yesterday,.....a record for me. I think more of the reason why people are buying the new Camaro is because more than any performance numbers it can put out, IT LOOKS GOOD, JUST GREAT. Chevy got it right with it's design, next the power, every enthusiast wants that, so it's a plus. New mustang.......FAIL.

Theres probably 27 people that actually care about the 5.0 being on the side. As for the rest of the web, this site still probably has more mustang activity than any mustang website.

When the Camaro gets cheaper, look out.
Spoken like true fan boys guys. The only thing I can agree with is that this site has more "activity" being the Camaro is a hot new product. There is a lot of interest in the 2011 Mustang. Both in the Mustang community and the web. It's not about the 5.0 badge being on the side. It's the performance and other tweaks that are coming to the cars. 2010 was the year of the Camaro and rightfully so. 2011 will be the Mustang's year. You guys keep down playing the new motors and other performance enhancements from the V6 to the GT500. We'll just have to see when the sales numbers starts rolling in. Bottom line is there is a lot of demand for the new 5.0 and a lot of Shelby guys upgrading their 07-09 to the 2011 with the aluminum block.

Oh and the Camaro is already cheaper and starting to sit on lots around here.
