I test-drove an A5 a couple months ago--man, what a beautiful car, inside and out! It only had the 265-HP V-6, so it didn't impress me much in the speed department. I wanted to drive an S5, but the only one the dealer had on hand was sold. Yesterday, I picked up the new issue of CAR magazine (British 'zine) and they had test-drove a red prototype new RS5
against the new M3. I can't recall what the engine was, but I believe it was a twin-turbo V-8 with 450 HP. Unfortunately, they wouldn't state any performance numbers or any hint of price (not that I could afford one anyway
), but it looked ohhhhh so sexy.
