I have no doubts there will be a V-8, and the news of a lighter chassis makes me giddy.
Depending on which v8 they decided to put in, combined with shaving some pounds, there will be no issues with meeting CAFE goals. Keep in mind it stands for Corporate
Average Fuel Economy.
If/when Chevy sells a metric shitton of Aveos, Cruzes and Volts, not to mention all the hybrid variants of other models, there really won`t be an issue of meeting the averages.
Especially if the 6th gen gets the DI V8
