Dropped by autozone this afternoon and picked up some trailer marker lights for the maxim. Two red, two amber. They're going to serve as turn signals.
And (on the red ones) after judicious application of resistance (14 ohms to be precise) they'll function as ancillary brake lighting as well.
The list of necessary parts is rapidly dwindling. Just need pads/shoes, tires, and a headlight. Plus a way to hide the wiring thats hanging off the front from where I pulled off the ferring. Apparently since there was no headlight housing to tuck it into they just stuffed it all into an opening on the ferring.
I'm probably going to pick up a tool bag and stuff all the wires in it.
I don't think it'll stand out as much as the one in that picture since the headlight I'm looking at is 8 inches long, and it'll be mounted right underneath/in front of where the light is mounted.
