Well, I talked to my neighbor again and let her know I'd bought the camera and spoken with the humane society. She apologized and said the cat had ran out the other morning as she was leaving for work and she couldn't catch her. I believe that. Since then there have been no prints on my car. We agreed that if it happens again she can call me and I'll try to catch "Snakes" and put her back in the house. However, I also think that her daughter was occasionally letting the cat out on purpose. I think she thought it wouldn't be a big deal once the "new" wore off my car. Now that I've spoken with her again I don't think it will be a problem anymore (I hope). They'll be out of town for the holiday weekend and I'll actually be feeding the cat. My hubby thinks it would be funny if she ran out and I couldn't catch her lol. As a precaution I've poured vinegar and cayenne pepper around the perimeter of the carport.
