I'm gonna highjack my own thread here for a sec... it needs lightening up.
My sister-in-law and her family live on several acres in the country. A yr or so ago her hubby and his brother decided to buy a calf to raise for slaughter. Our niece, who is 8, got attached to the cow and didn't want them to slaughter it, so she took enought money from her savings to buy her uncles share and got to keep it. She's now the proud owner of a pet cow named T-Bone.
edit: the picture is not f t-bone, just a cute calf. can't get it to load where I want it to.
