Busy country or whatever you take your chances when you let them roam. I was raised in BFE MS and I can't tell you how many cats we had whose ultimate fate was probablly getting turned into a pile of coyote poop.
I have 3 cats and 2 dogs and whether I live on a half acre (which I do) or 1000 acres I wouldn't let them roam freely.
