Now, for all those who've offered legitimate suggestions, thank you. I'll be checking into all of them and hopefully one of them will work.
The only things I'll say about the posts are that cows ARE cute (they have beautiful eyes, but yes, I do eat them, well, not the eyes lol) and, IMO, if all those people who have "outside cats" really cared for them they wouldn't let them roam freely. They can get hit by cars, attacked by dogs, torn to bits by other cats, poisoned by mean people, etc. Good pet owners wouldn't put their pets in danger like that.

AGREED. I own TWO cats. They are not allowed outside. Didn't declaw them, so if they do get out they have an outside chance. If my cats DID get outside, and screwed up someone elses property, it would be my fault. I would take whatever the consequences were. No matter how severe.
Cows are not cute. Unless by cute, you mean tasty. Or yummy.
