I bet you could buy one, do an engine swap, throw on an aftermarket suspension, brakes, tranny, swap out the heavy ass seats to counter the engine weight, and end up with a 425hp Challenger which weighs 3700lbs.... for no more than the 45k Challenger SRT.
Not a bad deal if it could be done, seeing as the car would be 500lbs lighter and no more expensive than an SRT with the same power...
