You know what helps? Not buying your 16 year old a 300hp car! Every time I see somebody posting stuff like "OMG I AM 15, DADDY IS BUYING ME MY COOL FAST CAMARO WHEN I TURN 16!!1111" I have to think how irresponsible is that...
lower the drinking age to something like this:
- soft alcoholics like beer at the age of 16,
- hard alcoholics like vodka at the age of 18.
- also have stricter regulations on drunk driving: lower the limit to 0,0 per mil for the first two or three years after you got your license and have it revoked if you are being caught driving under the influence.
let them enjoy a beer but be tough when they are irresponsible with it.
also, get rid of the stupid "no drinking in public" law. you know what freedom is to me? drinking a beer whenever and wherever i want. nothing better than sitting on a bench next to the river, enjoying the sun and having a beer.
