Catch can install location

Heya everyone,

I recently upgraded from a 2.9L gen 4 whipple to a 3.0L gen 6, and I’m not 100% sure of correct connection to install my catch can. I was also curious if vented vs non-vented cans are that big of a deal on boosted applications. I’m only running 6-7lbs of boost if that makes a difference as well.

I’m pretty sure this is the correct location but I had a friend who blew his rear main seal due to an improperly installed catch can, so I might have a little PTSD from that, so I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask
