Factory wires are fragile and don't play well with removal and reinstallation especially for guys with big hands LOL.
As king said header clearance is a big problem with Stock wires.

The Granatelli wires have been excellent so for in my experience. I’ve been running them for 4 years now after the stock wires quickly crapped out once I put headers on.
