As I understand it, this is 100% something that was done on purpose by GM on '19-'24s, and the '16-'18s don't do this (or at least not as obnoxiously)? So it should something that can be easily changed in the tune, right? |
Make no mistake about it. The 16-18's (and actually 17 is when the ZL1's came into build) pop just as much as they do in the later models. Those annoyingly excessive pops and crackles do tend to go away as soon as you run ethanol however, so do with that what you will.
